B__KIN explores how value is constructed, commodified, and staged, and asks viewers to reflect on the systems through which value is assigned. Each of the four iterations has been altered using spray paint, padlocks, distressed finishes, and deliberate imperfections. The first one-off B__KIN was featured in the personal essay Johnson penned for the Flash Art Spring 2025 issue. Four additional B__KINs were produced and exhibited in March 2025 on the occasion of her participation in Design.Space in Los Angeles.
